3 portraits of tea pickers on a plantation in the Hill Country. Sri Lanka was awesome but more about it and more pics some other day - the journey continues in India later today.

Pooja at Amma's Ashram
Hindu ceremony at an Ashram in Kerala. I was fortunate to be given permission to shoot this event from the front row, sitting right across from the Swami.
Here you can read more about the Ashram http://crashcoursetoinsanity.blogspot.com/2010/02/sohow-bout-that-hug.html

Hampi temple
Few shots from my favorite spot in Hampi. If you're planning a trip to India - you should see it. This tree was featured in an awesome shot for Harper's by Vancouver photographer Martin Prihoda. I thought it would be a great background for a nice nude but figured in India you'd probably get shot for something like that.

Entrance to the temple
Entrance to the one of the many temples in Hampi. This place has some of the most magnificent landscape and ruins I've ever seen and almost nobody has heard of it. If you travel to india - go out of your way to see it.

Holy man in Hampi
We just left Hampi after 5 days in what has been by far my favorite place in india so far. Amazing ancient ruins and rural scenery and alien like landscape made of giant boulders. here is a portrait of one of the residents.
